PLANNED GIVING

The Trust Endowment was formed to supplement our existing member support as a means to help continue our activities and programs in the area of preservation education, advocacy and action and provide needed funding for the Heritage Preservation Fund, our historic building acquisition and preservation fund.

The following provides more information about what gifts to the Trust Endowment mean to us and to historic preservation in Lancaster County, how they can help the donor in their estate planning, various and popular methods to contribute to the endowment and how we may help the donor in this important process.

Donations to the endowment may come in the form of estate (or planned) gifts and bequests, restricted outright donations and budget surplusses transferred to the endowment by the Trust Board of Directors.

It is the intention of the Board to maintain principle balances and only use invested interest.

Please click on the following for more information.

Planned giving, either through gifts of appreciated stock, bequests or estate gifts, perform an invaluable service in supporting current or long-term programming. You may help by making your gift unrestricted or designated to a particular program, project or service.

Further, we can help you with professional advice with our volunteer advisors.
