Heritage Preservation Fund
Endowment
Preservation is long-term, and the Trust's vision includes providing for the
future. To assure our organization's ability to transcend time we have created
an endowment, income from which will help to keep the Trust an active resource
for future generations and their preservation goals. It is not simply enough
to preserve our historic built environment through the hard work of one generation
to have it undone by the next for lack of resources. Our donors' annual support
pays the light bill...but their gifts to the endowment preserve the power plant.
A gift to the Trust permanent endowment offers you the magical ability to aid
in shaping Lancaster County well into the future.
In-Kind Gifts
The Trust gladly accepts offers of in-kind gifts from individuals or businesses.
They provide many invaluable goods and services to us over the course of a year.
Some of the more common needs are:
- Printing
- Copying
- Trust Office Building Maintenance
- Food & Beverages for Events
- Graphic Design
- Advertising and Public Relations
- Photography
- Special Contractor Services for Preservation Projects
If you or your firm are able to help in these or other areas, please contact
us at 717-291-5861.
Sponsorships
The Trust generates several publications and conducts events throughout the
year that depend upon sponsorships to help underwrite their expense. Sponsorships
can come from individuals, businesses or organizations. Some of the opportunities
to support our mission include:
Trust Quarterly Newspaper - Lancaster Heritage Outlook
A fun and informative look at local preservation activities. Readers learn about
Trust activities and events along with other local preservation news.
Historic Property Survey, Library and Archives The Trust maintains
a comprehensive resource library on historic preservation topics as well as
survey records on over 10,000 historic properties and districts in Lancaster
County.
Heritage Preservation Fund Projects The Trust is currently involved
in several visible historic property restoration and preservation projects.
Sponsorship help is always welcome to underwrite the costs of labor and materials.
